I am proud to write the following testimonial for Legacy/Whispering Pines.  As I have told you many times, if someone else would sign the check, we would build again with you and Dan in a  MINUTE!!

We are the proud and very satisfied owners of a home built by Dan and Colleen Kabat of Legacy Builders in 2004.  We were leery of the building process, and had heard so many building "horror" stories that did nothing to encourage our decision to build.  Yet, we researched  extensively and talked to friends/co-workers who had built previously, and the same theme kept recurring.." Build with Legacy".
 
We came to Colleen and Dan with no plans---just a photo of the exterior of a home we loved.  Without hesitation, Dan and Colleen told us they could make our home look any way we wanted it outside--and went to work with us on what our dream was for how it would look on the       inside.  Without exception, every step of the building process was organized yet personalized with attention to the smallest detail.  Dan was awesome about giving us updates about what would happen at least several times each week, and we invariably had lots of lead time for    decisions about structural and decorating choice deadlines.   Colleen was a huge help in offering suggestions about design and making the flow/decor of the house fit  our  family's  personality. Each vendor  that  Colleen and Dan referred us to for things such as flooring, lighting, cabinetry was a pleasure to work with and had nothing but positive things to say about Legacy as building professionals. We appreciated the timeline Dan and Colleen created for the building process, and were thrilled to have our home completed on time and very close to the budget we had created for ourselves.  Since the house has been completed, the few minor concerns we had have been promptly and thoroughly taken care with a smile by Brent.
 
We never felt like a number with Dan and Colleen...we were treated with warmth, sincerity and respect as building rookies.  Legacy prides   itself on customer service, and it is definitely what sold us on this awesome organization. People we tell our story to can't believe that we had such a positive experience that we would build again without hesitation---and we would, but ONLY with Legacy!!

Legacy Builders, as the namesake implies, can indeed create a legacy for generations to come. The entire experience with Legacy Builders was a delight. The unique team of Dan, Colleen, and Brent provided expertise with a comfortable builder/client  relationship. I was extremely impressed with Colleen's creative abilities, from design to computer generated architectural walk-throughs. Dan is a hands-on contractor that is either on-site or on-call, always reachable and accommodating. Their son Brent is a "jack of all trades" and will tweak anything to your satisfaction. The quality and  craftsmanship of   their  specialty crews makes the  house  a  home  and showplace!     There  are  no  unexpected surprises as timetables and budgets are outlined and followed. Team Legacy values quality, integrity, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction. We highly recommend their team for a gratifying new home construction experience!
